Joey Sneddon, writing in OMG! Ubuntu (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/) tells us that: “The third maintenance update to Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS has been released.”
Later in the posting, Kate Stewart, from Canonical, is quoted as indicating that: “Numerous updates have been integrated, and updated installation media have been provided so that fewer updates will need to be downloaded after installation. These include security updates and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a focus on maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.”
So is this a new version released purely for users starting from scratch, or should those of us who have been using and updating Lucid Lynx for some time take some sort of action?
Apparently all is well for the latter group since, in the comments section of the posting, Devin Hudson tells us that: “If you installed Lucid at any point since its release, and have kept up with the updates, you are running 10.04.3.”
